We were driving down the highway, my Dad driving that is. In Mom's big ugly white 15 passenger van that she loves so much
This little 09 Altima to our right starts sliding over toward us, and I'm thinking 'They'll get back over, they always do.' I look to the left where the off ramp is starting and there is a big white SUV, and I'm thinking 'I hope they get back over.'

I'm watching the car and I realize... they are NOT getting back over... I look at my Dad, and he's noticed this too... I consider saying something but Mom, and sis and cousin aren't paying any mind and I figure them freaking out won't hurt anything.

This all happens in what feels like the slowest 10 seconds or so of my life when there is a huge clash, smell of burning rubber, and the car jerks to the right very hard.

I nearly fly out of my seat since I'm young and thus invincible and so do not need a seat belt (It's legal here in the back seat if you are an adult) And parents in the front jerk me right back into my seat with 'arent arm'.
We are about to either go into the white SUV or into the highway signs when the white SUV steps on the gas so we can get over. We stop on the off ramp, the now battered Altima has to cross the bridge before they can stop.

Police and medical is called in (My Mom was having some chest pains which they decided would be okay).

The Altima is in a bit of trouble now though. The way they hit it was obvious who's fault the accident was. The people seemed genuinely concerned about us, and were very apologetic. When medical was called in for Mom (The officer insisted on it just to be safe) they were very concerned for her.

We did find out later though...
Their 09 Altima was a rental car...
That the female passenger had rented...
That her boyfriend without a license was driving.

Somebody is in trouble. Luckily everybody was fine. The entire right side of the little black Altima was scratched and streaked with white paint.
Our van got out with a large dent, a streak where the tires collided, and a large scratch covered in black paint.

So other than a scare and a mild shaking up everybody is fine... except for maybe the people in the Altima who the officer seemed determined to ticket.

My 'mood' shouldn't say humor but the little box seems determined not to work atm.
